Hey there to all of you ! My name is Tiana Gee, also known as Tee. I've been in the restaurant business for 6 years and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I've been able to cook for people all over the world, some loved ones and friends but most of them strangers. The food industry is the heart and soul of billions of people just like you and I. We all eat and even many of us all come together during those moments when there is food around. Gathering to go grub at your favorite restaurant or local eatery is now what we may call history. The entire food world is taking a complete shift. Restaurants have closed, including the one I was working at prior to the pandemic and some of them have been shut down for good. I've taken all of my love for food, cooking for others and knowledge I've learned and now I run a small business here in my hometown Los Angeles. I'm currently a private chef and caterer and I also curate content for my food channel, Cookin' with Tee. I love what I do and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to enjoy what I do for a living but as a small business owner and for many other creatives I can say that 2020 has been a tough year.
