Welcome to our fundraising page and thanks in advance for your consideration. COVID-19 has impacted our business tremendously. Like most of our fellow restaurateurs we've had to reduce our staff, convert to a takeout and delivery model, and implement strict safety measures. For us another layer of impact has been navigating this virus with a son that was born with lung disease. It was extremely tough, but remained vigilant for our son and our community. The funds from this fundraiser will help our catering kitchen create job training programs for entry level cooks. This will support our on-going mission to help people who are often excluded from traditional fine dining kitchens.

Post & Beam, helmed by Executive Chef/Owner John Cleveland and Restaurateur/Owner Roni Cleveland offers seasonal California cuisine with a touch of soul to the surrounding Baldwin Hills neighborhood and beyond. Showcasing the restaurant group’s ethos of embracing locally sourced ingredients, Post & Beam utilizes local farms to create a Southern-inspired menu. Guests can enjoy dishes and wood-fired oven creations such as Cast Iron Chicken with poached garlic; Garden Pizza layered with hand-harvested toppings; Roasted Salmon with tender leeks and crispy root vegetables; and classics including Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp Grits. Post & Beam’s full bar features a list of seasonal cocktails and a selection of California wine and craft beers.
